The Bow School District is currently implementing a concussion management program and has acquired a software tool called ImPACT (Immediate Post Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing). ImPACT is a computerized exam utilized in many sports programs to manage concussions by comparing pre and post injury testing. ImPACT can be used to help diagnose concussions and inform treatment plans for head injuries.

Google Cardboard

posted Jun 12, 2016, 5:40 PM by Muriel Hall

On Wednesday, May 11, BMS students experienced virtual reality panoramas from around the world. With their modern-day “Google Cardboard” 3-D viewmasters propped against their faces, students heads were moving up, down, left, and right as their teachers took them on guided tours of places school buses can’t go--Mount Everest, Ocean Safari, Roman Ruins, and Gettysburg, to name a few. These engaging journeys, as part of the Expeditions Pioneer Program, gave students the opportunity to be immersed in entirely new learning experiences. So cool!
